CallPayWall

Cookie Policy

Effective date: October 22, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Paywall Inc. ("Company", "we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on callpaywall.com and within the CallPayWall apps (the "Service"). It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, software development kit (SDK) identifiers, pixels, and device identifiers used in our mobile apps. We refer to all of these as "cookies" in this Policy. Cookies may be session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (remaining until they expire or you delete them), and first-party (set by us) or third-party (set by our providers).

2. Categories of Cookies We Use

2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These are essential to operate the Service and cannot be switched off in our systems. They include:

  • Session and authentication cookies that keep you signed in and secure your session (working with our cloud authentication provider).
  • Security cookies for fraud prevention, abuse detection, and load balancing.
  • Cookies that remember your cookie-consent choices.

These cookies do not require consent because the Service cannot function without them.

2.2 Functional Cookies

These remember choices you make to provide enhanced, personalized features. For example, language preference, interface settings, and previously entered information. Disabling them may degrade functionality.

2.3 Analytics Cookies

These help us understand how the Service is used so we can improve it. For example, which pages and features are used, performance and diagnostics, and aggregated usage trends. Where required by law, we collect analytics cookies only with your consent and use privacy-protective configurations where available.

We use Microsoft Clarity, an analytics service provided by Microsoft Corporation, to understand how visitors use our website through session replays, heatmaps, and aggregated behavioral metrics. Clarity may set first-party cookies such as _clck and _clsk to distinguish visits. Clarity only sets cookies if you allow analytics cookies through our consent banner; until then, and if you decline, Clarity operates in a consent-denied mode without setting cookies. In that mode the Clarity script still loads from Microsoft's servers, which, like any web request, receive standard connection information such as your IP address and browser details, processed by Microsoft as our service provider. We configure Clarity to mask form inputs and sensitive content, and we do not send Clarity your name, email address, phone number, or account identifiers. Microsoft's privacy practices are described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Apart from our Facebook ads page (callpaywall.com/fb), we do not use cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising. On that page the Meta Pixel sets Meta's advertising cookies (such as _fbp) and Clarity's analytics and advertising signals are on by default, unless you opt out with the "Do not sell or share my personal information" link or a Global Privacy Control signal. Our Privacy Policy (Section 5.6) explains what we share with Meta and how the opt out works.

3. How to Control Cookies

3.1 Consent Banner (EU/UK and where required)

For visitors in the EU, UK, and other regions that require it, we present a consent banner that lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies (functional and analytics) before they are set. You can change your choices at any time through the "Cookie Settings" link available in the Service.

3.2 Browser Controls

Most browsers let you view, manage, block, and delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent the Service from working properly. For guidance, consult your browser's help documentation.

3.3 Mobile App Controls

On mobile, you can manage device-level identifiers and tracking permissions through your operating system's privacy settings (for example, iOS Tracking and advertising-identifier controls, and Android settings). The Service does not track you across other companies' apps and websites for advertising.

4. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is no common industry standard for interpreting DNT, so we do not respond to DNT signals at this time. Where required by law, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) for purposes of opting out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will update the "Effective date" above and, where required, provide notice or re-request consent.
